Discodoris atromaculata is commonly called 'Dalmatian Doris'. This large dorid can grow to 12cm in length. It is easily recognisable according to its white body covered in round brown spots. It feeds on the sponge Petrosia ficiformis.
There is a discussion to know which is the right name for this species : Discodoris atromaculata or Peltodoris atromaculata.
