Nembrotha megalocera was described from the Red Sea. It has following characteristics :
- the body is black with yellowish orange blotches on each side
- the area between the rhinophores and around the gills is yellow
- the foot is bordered with blue
- the rhinophores are blue at the base and black at the tip
- the oral tentacles are blue
- the gills are purple with blue base

Nembrotha megalocera looks like some other Indo-Pacific species, and at the present time we don't know how many Nembrotha species there really are.
